GREENVILLE, Ohio- “If you love great food and shopping, you won’t want to miss Main Street Greenville’s November first Friday Event as we have activities for our Culinary Tour ticket holders and those who love to shop downtown.” said April Brubaker, Executive Director. This event is sponsored by Village Green Health Campus, who will also be downtown at Four Twenty Three that evening, showcasing a selection of culinary samples and more.

Culinary Tour

The Culinary tour is a ticketed event held on Friday, November 3, which allows you to eat and sip your way through the urban-spirited district. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore downtown dining locations and more. Hosting businesses are A & B Coffee, Alchemy Cocktail Lounge, Beanz Buttercream Bakery and Eatery, Blue Lantern Tea, Montage Cafe, Sweet Annie’s Cabin, The Don’s Pizza, The Hive Collective, and The Merchant House Cafe in Four Twenty-Three.

Tickets are $25 each and are available now at the Welcome Center, Beanz Buttercream Bakery & Eatery, and The Merchant House Cafe in Four Twenty-Three. Can’t make it to one of these businesses but want to participate? You can reserve your tickets by sending an email to [email protected] and then sending in your payment. There are only 100 tickets available for this exclusive event, so get yours before they’re gone!

The Hunt for Golden Knives

Our Hunt for Golden Knives activity taking place in participating retail establishments that night is for the shoppers! The golden knives will be hidden in participating establishments starting at 6 pm. There will be a sign on the door of participating businesses letting shoppers know that they are participating in this fun activity! Shoppers will then look for the knife in the stores of their choice, hence only one winner per store, and once you find a knife, you can’t go looking for knives in other stores. Why do you ask? So that it gives multiple shoppers the chance to win. What prize will be attached to the knife? Each business will be attaching their own prize; it could be a product, gift card, or discount. Participating stores that have committed so far are Bread of Life, Expressions of Thyme, Four Twenty Three, Happily Ever Co., Refined-Purveyors of Fine Goods, Rustic Roots, Sweet Annie’s Cabin, and The Hive Collective. Put your hunting skills to the test, and join us downtown on November 3.

Additional Activities

The Greenville Art Guild will be having their People’s Choice Art Show at the Art House Gallery on Third Street that evening. The show will feature artwork from area fine artists, and many pieces will be for sale. So, make sure to stop in and vote for your favorite piece of art.

Badges BBQ will also be set up on Third Street from 6-9 pm, serving delicious smoked meats and sides. Seating will be provided for guests indoors at 336 East Third Street, formerly Bumpers Bar/Peanut Barrel, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club located in downtown Greenville. Plus, Refined-Purveyors of Fine Goods will host a Pop-up Shop with Dumplings by Brooke.
