VERSAILLES, OH – On Friday, May 12, 2023, Stryper brought their “The Last Battle” tour to BMI Event Center in Versailles, Ohio.
Stryper is an American Christian heavy metal band from Orange County, California. Stryper was formed in 1983 and has the distinction of being the first Christian heavy metal band. In their impressive 40 years together they have released 14 albums.
The current lineup of Stryper consists of Michael Sweet on lead vocals and lead guitar, Robert Sweet on drums, Oz Fox on guitar and Perry Richardson on bass.
The bands impressive three-part harmony and musical prowess didn’t disappoint the large crowd which ranged from the very young to the very seasoned of rockers.
Fans were happy to hear Michael Sweet’s announcement that this tour will not be the bands last tour and are eagerly awaiting Stryper’s return to Ohio.
