Steven A. Blumenstock, 79, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at the EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.

He was born on February 5, 1945, in Arcanum, Ohio, to the late Harold “Shorty” and Helen (Clay) Blumenstock.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his siblings, Richard Blumenstock, Jane Long, and Tom Blumenstock, and his brothers-in-law, Richard Long and Paul Schellhaas.

Steve is survived by his three sons, Troy (Kim) Blumenstock of Corydon, Indiana, Craig Blumenstock of Union City, Ohio, and Ben (Angie) Blumenstock of Greenville; his eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; his sister, Mary Ann Schellhaas of Versailles; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Blumenstock of Florida and Karen Blumenstock of Greenville.

Steve graduated from Franklin Monroe High School in 1963. He spent most of his life working as a carpet salesman for Main Floor Coverings in Dayton. Steve was an artistic person who enjoyed sculpting and drawing. In his free time, Steve enjoyed tinkering with old cars and going fishing.

Per Steve’s request, there will be no services.
