Shirley L (Stump) Lavey, 85 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday October 22, 2026, at 1:33 AM at EverHeart Hospice Care Center, Greenville, Ohio. Shirley was born on December 29, 1940, in Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Chester R. and Mary E. (Stump) Lavey.
Shirley worked at Neff Lettering for 35 years, then as a caregiver for 5 years. She was a member of Solid Rock Apostolic Church. Shirley loved caring for people and most of all loved the Lord.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Galen, and Dwight Stump; and her sisters, Eturpy Wysong, and Madonna Darland.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Charles Lavey of Greenville whom she married September 29, 1979; her children and spouses, Tonna and Dale Brown, and Mark and Beverly Schrolucke; her grandchildren, Amanda, Lacey, and Rebecca; her great-grandchildren, Talon, Bella, Ezra, Chloe, and Ana; her brother, Jerry Stump; and her beloved nieces and nephews.
Per Shirleys wishes there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
