Today, Sergeant Benjamin Boyer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant with the Greenville Police Department.
Lieutenant Boyer will be replacing Lieutenant Douglas Flanery, who is set to retire in April this year. Mayor Whitaker administered the oath of office to Lieutenant Boyer with his wife Melissa by his side.
Lieutenant Boyer has been with the Greenville Police Department for nearly 15 years, and his first assignment in his new position will be as the department’s Support Services Division Lieutenant.
Congratulations Lieutenant Boyer!
