Ruthanna Rogers, 97 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday May 28, 2023 at 5:34 PM at Hospice of Dayton. Ruthanna was born February 12, 1926 in New Madison, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ira A. and Inez (Noffsinger) Bolinger.
Ruthanna took care of grandmother Rogers until 1963; she worked for 27 years at Wayne Healthcare starting in 1963; she moved to Greenville in November of 1972 and resided at her Harrison Avenue residence until her passing. She was a lifelong member of Castine Church.
Ruthanna is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett F. Rogers on August 17, 2010 whom she married January 1, 1950; her brother, Willard Bollinger; and her sister and brother in law, Gletha May and Bob Black.
Ruthanna is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Wesley (Nancy) Rogers, Paul (Marietta) Rogers; her grandchildren, Alan (Kelley) Schaub, Rhawnie, Nathan, Jordan (Sandra), and Elisabeth; her great grandchildren, Judy, Mary, Joy, Torie, Huntyr, and Kaedyn; 6 great great grandchildren; her cousin, Phyllis Mikesell; sister in law, Esther Rogers; and special nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday June 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM Castine Church, 624 US 127, Castine, Ohio with Pastor Greg Hyre and Pastor Duane Denlinger officiating. Burial will follow in Castine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday June 6, 2023 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio and 1 hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church.
