Robert E. Delk, age 86 of Pitsburg, Ohio passed away at 6:40 AM Tuesday January 10, 2023 at the Wright Rehab & Healthcare Center in Fairborn, Ohio. He was born September 19, 1936 in Darke County Ohio and the son of the late Forrest Daniel and Ruby Laverne (Kreiter) Delk.
Bob was retired as a Dairy Farmer in the Pitsburg area and enjoyed woodworking, making furniture and toys for children.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Randy D. Delk; brothers Carroll Delk, Lenvall Delk, Doyle Delk, Kenneth Delk and James Delk and a sister Vera Beisner.
Bob is survived by his wife Noreta E. (Bridenbaugh) Delk. They were married September 18, 1957. Also sons Daniel Delk and wife Diane, Donavon Delk, Steven D. Watson and husband Daniel and Jody Delk and finance Christy; grandchildren Tabitha Thompson and husband Zac, Nicholas Delk and wife Ashley, Jocie Delk, Mason Delk and Ethan C. Delk; great grandchildren Riley Ignaffo and friend Brody, Ethan Ignaffo, Trinity Irwin, Taylor Thompson, Lucas Thompson and Brant Thompson; sisters Janice Shields and husband Lowell, Marilyn Myers and Doris Osborne; brother-in-law William Beisner; sisters-in-law Jane Delk, Lois Delk and Marcia Delk as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday January 13, 2023 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Ivan Shawver officiating. Burial will follow in the Mote Cemetery Pitsburg, Ohio. The family will receive friends on from 2:00 PM until time of the services in the funeral home.
