
GREENVILLE – With the General Election scheduled for Tuesday, November 4. The League of Women Voters of Darke County is again sponsoring a Candidates Forum as a public service.
The forum will only be for the Greenville Board of Education contested race featuring the five candidates vying for three elected spots: Diana Banta, Chad Leon Bunger, Cherri L. Ellis, Ronald E. Kerg and Tammie S. Riffle.
There will be no audience and it will only feature the five candidates for the Greenville Board of Education.
After two-minute introductory speeches, candidates will answer questions screened by a panel of League members and presented to the candidates by a moderator. Please submit questions to DarkeLWV@gmail.com that you would like to have asked by Friday evening, October 10. The League will moderate and time the candidates’ responses. The program will last about one hour.
Your questions for the candidates may be submitted to DarkeLWV@gmail.com. Questions should be appropriate and factual in content and may contain no slanderous remarks. Based on time constraints, not all questions may be asked. No questions will be shared with any candidates in advance of the event.
The League has contracted with My County Link to film the event. Any use of the debate footage requires the express written approval of the League of Women Voters of Darke County, At Large Unit and this forum will only be shown without any additions or deletions. This footage may not be used as part of any campaign material or advertisement.
