PREBLE COUNTY – The Camden-Somers Township Fire and EMS Department, in conjunction with the State Fire Marshal’s Office, is currently investigating a series of fires at Deer Run Luxury Campground. September 13th, 2024, to date, there have been four (4) confirmed arson fires and two (2) additional fires under investigation. These incidents have posed a significant challenge to our community’s safety and resources.
We assure the public that the State Fire Marshal’s Office is conducting a thorough investigation, and we urge anyone with information to come forward. Even the smallest detail could be crucial in solving this case and preventing future incidents.

The Camden-Somers Township Fire and EMS Department is making a heartfelt plea to the public:
