Phase III Sidewalks in Palestine Awarded

DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Commissioners’ June 9, 2026, regular meeting started at 9:30 a.m. with Commissioners Aultman and Combs present. The Commissioners then approved the minutes from June 4th.

The examination and allowance of bills were presented and approved. The vouchers from the June 4th and 9th General funds were $30,848.72; the outside General funds were $20,270.94; and the total was $51,119.56.

A fund advance for the Darke County Grants 2024 Building/Demo Revitalization Grant for $72,082.99 was approved.

The Recorder and Auditor had Transfers of Appropriations. The Recorder transferred $507.54 for the microfilm, and the Auditor transferred $20,000.00 for county building repairs.

The 2025 FAA Box Hangar Grant through the Grants Dept. included a fund advance to cover the BF&S invoice for $ 5,435.50.

The 2026 Program Partnership agreement with the City of Greenville, 2026 CHIP Program was approved. A grant request of $700,000.00 was requested to be used on 8 County properties and 5 city properties.

America’s Decorative Concrete LTD. was awarded the Phase III Main Street Sidewalk replacement contract in Palestine. The award was for $81,834.64.

The monthly Inventory and Obligations & Security report was journalized.
