Paul Edward Shell Sr., 87 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 12:26 PM at his Residence. Paul was born February 24, 1938, in Eaton, Ohio, the son of the late Edna (Shinn) and Everett Shell.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, his wife of many years, and the mother of his children, Elizabeth (Silvers) Shell, and his wife, Betty (Brown) Shell.
Paul leaves behind a lasting legacy with his Children, Paul “Jake” and Becky Shell, Patricia and Tracy Aldora, and April and Tanner Kirchner as well as his Step-Children and numerous Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.
Paul had a special place in his heart for the outdoors, and his love for fishing was unmatched. Whether he was on the banks of a quiet stream or spending time with friends and family by the water, Paul’s enjoyment of fishing was something that brought him peace and happiness throughout his life.
He was also an avid enthusiast of garage sales and flea markets, where he could often be found hunting for treasures, enjoying the thrill of the find, and striking up a friendly conversation with fellow bargain hunters. His knack for card games brought joy and laughter to many, and Paul’s home was always filled with the sound of good company and friendly competition.
A visitation will be held at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville, Ohio, on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A service will follow at noon, officiated by Joe Smith. Paul’s family invites all who knew him to join them in honoring his life and legacy.
