The MVHS dance team traveled to Van Wert on Saturday January 7th where they competed in the Northwest Dance Regional OASSA hosted at Van Wert High School. There were 8 different teams in the hip hop category with the MVHS dance team being one of the teams that qualified for the state championship competition.
This is a return trip for the Mississinawa Dance Team as they qualified and competed last year at state finishing in 6th place in the small hip hop division.
The state championship will be held on January 28th at Westerville North High School in Westerville, OH. During this competition MV will be competing against teams from across the state.
“Our team is small but very mighty,” MV Dance coach Daisy Brim said.
