PREBLE COUNTY – The man who was reported missing in a private lake on Sunday, October 19th, has been located.
At approximately 8:46 A.M. Saturday morning, search teams recovered the body of Garrett LaRue (20) of Fountain City, Indiana, from the lake.
LaRue was transported to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office, where an autopsy will be performed.
Law enforcement, Fire and EMS and dive/search and rescue teams spent the last week searching for LaRue.
The investigation continues by the Sheriff’s Office and the Preble County Coroner’s Office.
