DISORDERLY

October 10, 2025 – At approximately 8:39 am, I was dispatched to 100 Public Square reference a disorderly subject.

Upon my arrival, I made contact with Jeffery White, who had a box with a picture of a gun on it. The box was from Det. Dickmann returned the property to White from the Greenville Police Department, which contained a hatchet and a pair of scissors and not a gun. Staff at 100 Public Square were concerned he may have an actual gun in the box.

I spoke with White, who advised that he wasn’t threatening anyone or making claims that there was a gun in the box. During the conversation, White was asked what the Greenville Police Department could do for him. White replied with “You can shoot me, take me out of my misery, and carry me away in a body bag.”

Due to these statements, White was advised he would be pink-slipped. White was detained in handcuffs, which were double locked and gap checked. White was then transported to Wayne Healthcare for evaluation and observation under the application for emergency admission form, also known as a pink slip.

White was received by Wayne HealthCare staff for evaluation and observation. A copy of the Application for Emergency Admission was filed with this report. White’s items on his person, to include a backpack containing personal items as well as a hatchet, scissors and knives, were transported to the Greenville Police Department and placed into property for safekeeping.

VANDALISM

October 9, 2025 – At approximately 1:28 pm, I was informed by Chief Benge of a vandalism incident under the E. Main St. Bridge.

It appeared 8:58 am took a can of black Chief Benge sent me video footage that he received from the City of Greenville Street Department, who maintains the bridge, of a female subject graffitiing the northeastern, underside of the E. that a female subject, on September 23, 2025, at spray paint and proceeded to write a series of unidentifiable words on two separate locations on the wall beneath the bridge.

P. O. Wolfe and I went to the bridge and located the spray-painted wall. Photos were taken of the graffiti.

Upon observation of the video footage, I was able to identify the subject graffitiing the bridge as Joslyn Barna. I attempted to contact Joslyn at her place of residence, 703 E. 4th St., but was unable to contact her.
