MIAMI COUNTY – On June 20, deputies and detectives with the Miami County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant for child pornography in the 6000 block of U.S. Route 40 in Bethel Township.
The search warrant was the culmination of a several-week-long investigation into child pornography. Electronic devices were seized to include cell phones and laptop computers. Taken into custody without incident was Christian F. Roland (27) with a last known address in Dayton. Roland was incarcerated in the Miami County Jail and was initially charged with 17 counts of Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor, felonies of the second degree.
A Miami County Grand Jury recently returned an indictment of 34 counts of Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor, all felonies of the second degree. Roland remains incarcerated in the Miami County Jail on $75,000 cash bond.
