ANDERSON, IN – Three Darke County freshman college softball players are making their mark on their respective college diamonds.
Arcanum Lady Trojans graduate (Class of 2022) and current Wittenberg University Lady Tiger softball player, Meghan McCans and Greenville Lady Wave twins, Bri (Brianna) and Saige Fellers (Class of 2022) now playing for the Anderson University Lady Ravens have met twice to date this season on the college softball diamonds.
McCans’ Lady Tigers defeated the Fellers’ twins Lady Ravens 6-3 back on March 18 at Wittenberg and Anderson University turned the tables of the Lady Tigers winning a Monday night double header 9-1 and 9-6 at Anderson University.
In 17 regular season games, McCans is currently hitting .289 with 3-RBIs, 8-runs scored and 6-stolen bases. Bri Fellers is batting .154 and Saige Fellers has a .111 average for Anderson University.
