Marjorie J. Class, 81, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 8:00 AM at her residence. Marjorie was born April 12, 1942, in Union City, Ohio, the daughter of the late Hershel and Pauline (Brooks) Byrum. She worked for the Phone Company for 20 years and for Mitchell Water Softener for 15 years.
Marjorie enjoyed bowling; she loved her Ohio State Buckeyes, and she especially loved her grandchildren. Marjorie left this earth as a true class act and will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Bob, Larry, and Donnie Byrum.
Marjorie is survived by her husband, Roger Class, whom she married on December 31, 1961. Her children, Ronda J. (Tim) Parker and Randy (Irma) Class; her grandchildren, Lilly Parker and Kyle Class; and her sister, Joyce (Don) Walter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Jason Kerns officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the EverHeart Hospice. The family would like to give special thanks to all of Marjorie’s caregivers, especially Sarah, Maggie, and Karen, for all the amazing care they provided.
