Lucinda “Cindy” J. Todd, 74, of Russia, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 3:30 AM at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. Cindy was born February 14, 1949, in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lowell Laughman and Helen (Shimp) Laughman Witt. Cindy worked for Weaver Bros. for 15 ½ years and for Stolles in Sidney for 11 years.
Cindy was a member of Webster United Methodist Church. She loved crocheting and made hats and mittens that she would send to St. Vincent DePaul; she also enjoyed embroidery, reading, and, most of all, spending time with her grandkids.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ron Laughman.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Roger Todd of Russia, whom she married June 14, 1968; her children and spouses, Dr. Timothy Todd and his wife Dr. Rita Stoyanov of Grand Rapids, Michigan, James Todd of Russia, and Thomas and Shelly Todd of Versailles; her grandchildren, Joanna Stoyanova and husband Matt Coen, Kyle Oda, Presley Oda, Justin Todd, Dawson Todd, Cierra Todd, and Selena Todd; her great-grandchildren, Cali, Adilyn Oda, Kyle Oda Jr., Ollie Oda, Myles Oda, Aurelie Ward; her brother and sister in law, Ray and Wanda Laughman of Russia, her sister, Connie Fries of Versailles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Cindy’s’ Life will be held at a later date at Webster United Methodist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul.
