Life’s Reflections: Both sides of family blessed with veterans

My dad, Lee Jr. Moody

As some of you know computer problems put a damper on my Facebook and my columns this past week, but I’m hopefully back in the groove with new equipment.

Yes, I was beginning to have social media withdrawals but hopefully,  it won’t happen again.

So here is the column I started last week for Veteran’s Day.

Lots of friends are members of the VFW and  American Legion.
family veterans were Dad, Jim Moody, one of Kathy’s boys, Uncle Gene? some family and lots of friends I’ve made over the years through various organizations I belong to and whom I have met at events I’ve covered.

Brother-in-Law, Tom Brumbaugh Sr.

Who all do you have?  Eric who is still on active duty with the U.S. Navy and just relocated to Crane, Ind. Cousin Rick Moody’s son served in the military as did my mother’s brother Gene Riffell, who was in the Army.

My cousin, Clark Moody

Hopefully, I didn’t leave anyone out and please forgive me if I did.

I am so proud of those who served to protect this country. They are our real heroes.
