Now that the snow and the cold weather and snow are gone, maybe we can start getting out and enjoying life again.
Lots of things have been happening – good and bad – in this country and I’m hoping things change for the better.
Personally, since the recent loss of a good friend, I find myself trembling when something goes wrong in my life. I have panic-like attacks until a situation is resolved and then I’m back to normal, whatever that is.
I try to say a little prayer each time it happens and it usually fixes itself, thanks to Him.
I’ve never reacted that way before. But I remind myself that life has to go on and that I have a son, who needs me. I enjoy being around him as well as family and good friends. I care what happens to them, especially when they become ill or face some type of situation they never asked for.
Most people have had worse problems than I have and I pray for them as well.
With this month almost at an end, I am facing a very busy May. I will become another year older and our calendar here at home is filled with several doctor visits for Jamie and me, as well as events including the celebration of our graduating class, not to mention other activities Jamie and I take part in.
And, in order to change our lifestyle, Jamie and I are going to start eating better if I have the time to figure something out. He’s in agreement.
And, I am still downsizing at home, which is a major activity.
We can do it. I just know it.
