GREENVILLE – Leon Knore, of rural Versailles, received an Award as a “Stalwart” outstanding Democrat at the party’s April 22, 2026, meeting of its Central & Executive Committees, which are held at the Shawnee Prairie Park District facility. Leon is an esteemed Educator in Darke County, having been a popular teacher and also serving in administrative school positions as a competent and successful school leader.
Mr. Knore along with his wife Sue, have been lifelong Democrats with both, serving as Precinct Committee persons and as Democratic Party officers and committee heads.
