Sealed Bid Proposals will be received at the Board of Education Office of the Tri-Village Local School District, 315 South Main Street, New Madison, OH, 45346, until 2:00 p.m. EDT, October 24, 2025, for new epoxy flake flooring (first floor of the junior high/high school building and commons area – approximately 14,000 sq. ft.).
New flooring is to match existing floors in design and finish. The job entails removing existing VCT or epoxy and cove base in work areas, hauling away debris, and diamond grinding to remove remaining adhesive and to achieve CSP-3 profile.
Install double broadcast polymer flake/epoxy floor system, General Polymers, Dura-Flex Sherwin Williams or Tnemenc brand consisting of filling cracks, joints, spawls, chips, etc. with epoxy filter, 100% solids epoxy primer @ 8 mil DFT, (2) 100% solids epoxy broadcast coats with flakes to rejection, 100% solids epoxy grout coat @ 16 mil DFT, wear resistant urethane with aluminum oxide aggregate powder @ 3 mil DFT, and install new 4″ rubber cove base.
The job is expected to begin June 1, 2026, and must be completed by July 31, 2026.
