DAYTON – The Greenville Lady Wave swept the home-standing Stebbins Lady Indians in straight sets, earning double-digit wins in each set, 25-15, 25-14, and 25-14.

“We played well and won,” said Greenville coach Michelle Hardesty. “Coming off a week of “teachable moments” it was good to add two wins this week.”

The Lady Wave got balance at the net, led by Brooke Schmidt’s ten kills and six each from Kyndall Burke and Hailey Gillespie.

“The girls did a fabulous job of using learning opportunities to better their game,” Coach Hardesty stated. “The win tonight vs Stebbins was about rebuilding confidence. It didn’t take long as they won the first set 25-10.”

“I am proud of the effort they put into the last few practices and tonight’s match,” Coach Hardesty added. “They were impressive.”

Kindyl Peltz paced Greenville with 24 assists and nine digs. Shyanne Gibboney added eight and Schmidt six digs for the Lady Wave.
