GREENVILLE – The Greenville eighth grade Lady Wave volleyball team defeated the Xenia Lady Buccaneers 2-0 in Wednesday night MVL action.
“I am glad we won but I know the girls can do better than what they performed tonight,” said Greenville eighth-grade coach Melissa Good. “I am always looking for the top level from them.”
The Lady Wave eighth graders wasted little time in winning the conference matchup between the two Miami Valley League schools.
“It was a total team effort tonight,” Good stated following the match.
Coach Good is expecting good things from her eighth graders as they advance to the high school for the 2025 volleyball season.
“We have improved a lot since the beginning…baby steps,” said Coach Good. “I’m excited for next year.”
