SIDNEY – The Greenville Lady Wave varsity tennis team defeated the Sidney Lehman Lady Cavaliers 4-1 in non-conference play.
Riley Capasso dropped a first singles match to Charlotte Spaide 4-6, 1-6.
Greenville’s Maddie Lance defeated Brooklyn Fortkamp at second singles 6-0, 6-0. Sienna Gillman won by forfeit in third singles.
Haylee Shuttleworth and Meadow Murphy defeated the Lady Cavaliers, Eliza Westerheide, and Kayla McGinnis 6-0,6-1.
Lady Wave Charlie Pope and Kirsten Hord defeated Dublin Cooper and Kali Pleasnt 6-3, 6-1 in second doubles to close the night with a Greenville win.
Greenville improves to 7-7 overall and 4-4 in the MVL.
The Lady Wave hosts the Sidney Lady Yellow Jackets tonight, September 17 for Senior Night.
