GREENVILLE – The seventh and eighth grade Lady Wave Junior High softball teams punched their tickets Friday night to the MVL quarter-finals and move into the semi-final round of tournament action Monday, May 8th.
The eighth grade Lady Wave face a tough opponent, the Fairborn Lady Skyhawks but were able to win by a final score of 3-2.
The seventh grade Lady Wave team and the Stebbins Lady Indians both remained scoreless in the first four innings before the Lady Wave girls turned up the heat and took the win with a final score of 10-0.
On Monday the Lay Wave eighth graders will face the Piqua Lady Indians and the seventh grade team will face the Troy Lady Trojans. Both semi-final games will take place starting a 5:30 p.m. at the Greenville Middle School diamonds.
