SIDNEY – The Greenville girls golf team traveled to Sidney’s Moose Golf Course to play the Lady Yellow Jackets in a Miami Valley League match. The Lady Wave won the match 208-234.
“This was the first time that three of the girls had seen the Moose golf course, and it showed in the scores,” said Greenville coach Tracy Haines. “The Moose is not an easy golf course to walk, and the greens were faster than we have seen recently. We have a few days before our next match to work on chipping and putting.”
The Lady Wave was led by Vera Cox with a 37, Sofia Chrisman carded a 49, Lyla Brinley shot a 60, and Kennedy Schoen and Payton Fourman both had 62. Addy Arnett also played and had a 69.
Greenville’s Vera Cox shot a personal best for nine holes with a 37.
Antoinette Neu led the Lady Yellow Jackets with a 53, Libby Spangler with a 56, Jolene Smith with a 57, and Claire Turner with a 68.
