Lady Wave Falls to Butler

GREENVILLE – The Lady Wave girls’ golf team hosted the Butler Lady Aviators at Turtle Creek Golf Course for a MVL conference match on Tuesday, August 15 and fell short losing the match by a 218-210 score.

The Lady Wave were led by Sophia Chrisman with a 52, Vera Cox and Leah Curtis both shot 54 and Taylor Trissel carded a 58.  Also playing for the Lady Wave were Callee Moore with a 62 and Kennedy Schoen a score of 79.

Vandalia-Butler was led by Shelby Drinnon’s 48, Julianna Golde with a 53, Makenzi Kohlrieser carded a 54 and Charli Price shot a 55.  Also playing were Summer D’Angelo with a 59 and Ava Stephens a 65.

“Leah Curtis had a personal 9-hole best with a 54,” said Greenville Coach, Tracy Haines. “Sophia Chrisman also had a 9-hole personal best with a 52.”
