XENIA – The Greenville Lady Wave golf team traveled to Xenia’s WGC Golf Course to compete in the OHSAA Sectional golf tournament. The Lady Wave placed 13th out of 19 teams.
“We had a young team and were rebuilding this year,” said veteran Lady Wave coach, Tracy Haines. “I am happy with how the girls ended the season.”
Greenville’s Vera Cox shot a 93 to lead the Lady Wave; Sofia Chrisman carded a 105; Reese Addington shot a 114 and Taylor Trissel finished with a 115. Also playing for the Lady Wave was Callee Moore with a 120.
The Lady Wave finished the season 5-7 overall and 3-3 in conference play.
“There has been improvement in how the girls played this year,” Coach Haines concluded, “and will continue to build on that over the winter.”
