UNION CITY, Ind. – The Lady Indians took on the Bulldogs from Centerville in a home conference match-up Wednesday night, taking a Tri-Eastern Conference win by a final score of 40-31.
Union City went into halftime with a 7-point lead and stood their ground in the second half until the final buzzer.
They were led in scoring by Oaklee Reichard with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Ordonez added 14 points including 4 from behind the arc. Kerns pulled down 9 rebounds for the Indians.
The Indians will play again at Knightstown for a varsity girls-only match-up; JV boys will start at 5 PM, varsity girls at 6:30 and varsity boys to follow. The girls JV fell to the Centerville Bulldogs.
