Judith Ann Brown, age 61, of Versailles, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.
She was born on May 6. 1963 in Bainbridge, Maryland to the late Ruth (Apple) Shurte and Richard Shurte.
In addition to her father, Judith is survived by her loving husband, Michael Brown; son. Michael Brown; daughter, Amy Duke; sister, Julie Cook; grandchildren, Gavin, Brianna, Brayden, Josh, Jenna, Amber, and Anna; great grandsons, Ivan and one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Judith graduated from Greenville High School. She worked many years at the Brethren Home as a cook. Judith enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, camping, shopping, and her dogs, Smoke and Chico. More than anything, Judith loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM on March 11, 2025, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Rev. Gary Oser officiating.
A visitation will be held prior to the service from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
