Jeffery Addis, 62 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 6:57 PM at EverHeart Hospice Care Center, Greenville, Ohio. Jeff was born June 6, 1962 in Greenville, Ohio, the son of Don and Mary (Hartzell) Addis of Greenville.
Jeff loved restoring Harleys, antique cars and houses; he was an avid rider and fisherman; and most of all his family was his world, especially his grandchildren.
Jeff is preceded in death by his son, Matthew Addis; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Winifred Calvert; his grandparents, Roger and Julia Addis, and William and Isabelle Hartzell.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 41 years, Denise (Calvert) Addis of Greenville whom he married May 11, 1983; his children and spouses, Joshua and Jessica Addis, Meghan and Brandon Hopkins, Jeffrey and Stacy Nisonger, Nicolle Addis, and Amanda Bierly; his grandchildren, Colton Addis Caidyin Addis, Camden Addis, Braden Addis, Keagen Addis, Gabi Hopkins, Harp Hopkins, Madi Hopkins, Alexa Nisonger, Abby Nisonger, Allison Snyder, Karter Selig, and Bryson Selig; his great-granddaughter, Everleigh Addis; his brothers and spouses, Rick Addis and Cathy Renz, Don and Pat Addis, his sister, Kim Addis; his brother in law, Larry Rose Calvert; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
