High-speed pursuit in Greenville leads to arrest

GREENVILLE – Wyatt S. Hildrebrand (28) of Greenville was arrested Saturday morning after leading officers and deputies on a high-speed pursuit on a Suzuki motorcycle inside and outside of the city limits.

According to a report from the Greenville Police Department, Hildebrand failed to comply with a traffic stop initiated by an officer who noticed he had no license plate on the motorcycle and failed to signal when turning from Martin St. onto North Ohio St., where he then began doing wheelies on the roadway.

Hildebrand exited the city limits and then re-entered before crash the motorcycle at North Broadway and Wilson Ave. He was then placed under arrest and transported to the Darke County Ciminal Justice Center. He is charged with felony fleeing (F3) and driving with a suspended license (M1). He is currently awaiting a bond hearing, according to jail records.

No injuries were reported as a result of the pursuit and crash.
