GREENVILLE—Spring Cleanup at Greenville Union Cemetery will be held March 1 through March 31. Families and loved ones are to remove all decorations they wish to save by Feb. 28.
Cemetery personnel will begin removing all decorations that are not placed in vases or on monuments. All decorations placed in the ground will be removed and discarded.
All cemetery decorations and floral arrangements must be placed on the monument, in vases or sitting on the foundation. Solar lights are not permitted to be placed in the ground. Shepherd hooks are not permitted.
The only exception will be Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day and Christmas Day. After these listed holidays all arrangements must be removed within seven days or they will be removed by cemetery personnel.
The trustees of Greenville Union Cemetery reminds everyone that there are signs at each entrance to the cemetery listing the rules for the cemetery.
