GREENVILLE – Greenville held its annual week long Summer Track and Field camp under the direction of veteran Green Wave head coach Bill Plessinger with 90 campers attending.
“It has been a great camp,” said Plessinger. “My helpers are tremendous.”
“Most of these kids that are my coaches have gone through this camp so they are each running their stations own their own,” Plessinger continued. “I can kind of be overseer which is nice. They do a tremendous job.”
The 2022 camp is the 22nd track and field camp for Coach Plessinger at Greenville.
“This camp is only as good as the people I have helping and most of them are former track kids or track kids currently and my current coaching staff,” Plessinger stated. “Once again kids are having a great time learning some basic skills, enjoying what track and field can offer.”
The camp ended with Friday awards followed with a two hour swimming party at the Greenville City swimming pool.
