Greenville tennis sweeps Trotwood-Madison

GREENVILLE – The Greenville varsity tennis team earned a 5-0 sweep over the Trotwood-Madison Rams to improve to 8-3 on the 2025 season.

“We came out quick, played loose with confidence,” said Greenville coach Sam Bowers, “and it led to a dominant win.”

Mason Pierri won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles, Eli Willis earned 6-2, 6-3 wins at second singles, and Hudson Pierri got 6-0, 6-0 wins at third singles.

The Wave doubles teams of Drew Beisner / Avery Yount 6-3, 6-0, and Silas Lacey / Shane Gilman 6-1, 6-1 completed the sweep to earn the team’s non-conference win.

“Everyone played really well and as a coach, you love those days,” Coach Bowers stated, “onto the next.”
