DISORDERLY

May 15, 2026 – At approximately 0854 hours, I responded to 746 Martin Street in reference to a disorderly complaint.

Upon my arrival, I made contact with the complainant, Dylan Julian. Dylan advised that he got into an argument with Destinee Parkman over property he has at the listed residence. Dylan stated he wanted to gather his items from an RV in the backyard, which he has been living in for a few weeks, and leave the property. Destinee advised that she would not let Dylan retrieve his property until Dylan paid her for the work she had done for him. Destinee began to take Dylan’s items from the RV and place them in a pile in the backyard for him to get. While Destinee was doing this, Dylan’s mother, Linda Bruss, advised Destinee had assaulted her and she wished to pursue charges against her.

Dylan advised that he had video of the altercation, but the video shown at this time did not show anything physical between Destinee and Linda. Linda then left the property and came to the Greenville Police Department to file an assault report against Destinee. While speaking with Linda at the police department, she stated that he had injuries to her hands, as well as an injury on the inside of her upper lip. Pictures were taken of injuries to Linda and will be attached to this report. Linda completed a statement and victim rights form, which will be attached to this report. Statements were also obtained from Destinee and Jami Riddle. Linda was advised to send me any video she had of the incident to be attached to this report.

Dylan sent me another video that showed both Destinee and Linda were in each other’s faces, engaged in an argument, which turned into a physical altercation. Both Destinee and Linda could be heard calling each other names and taunting one another. Destinee pushed Linda out of the RV, where they got into each other’s faces, yelling. Destinee punched Linda in the mouth. Linda then tried to punch Destinee, but missed. After the incident, both parties exited the RV.

Both parties were issued a citation for disorderly conduct on May 19, 2026

DRUGS

May 23, 2026 – At approximately 2007 hours I observed the listed 2007 Dodge Charger traveling north bound on Sweitzer Street near Pine Street. The vehicle approached the clearly posted stop sign and stop bar at the intersection of Sweitzer Street Pine Street. The vehicle did not come to a complete stop until the entire vehicle was over the stop bar.

I conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at the intersection of Pine Street and Central Avenue and made contact with the driver, Stephanie Schenk and the front seat passenger, Norman Neathery. I advised Stephanie of the reason I stopped her and she stated that she is visiting family from out of town. I asked Norman if he had any identification on him and he stated that he did not. Norman provided me with his name and date of birth. I asked Stephanie if there was anything illegal in the vehicle and she stated there was not. I asked Stephanie if she would mind if I searched the vehicle and she became visibly nervous. It should be noted that throughout most of the conversation, Stephanie was making eye contact with me and when I asked her for consent to search the vehicle, she bowed her head and broke eye contact with me. Stephanie asked if there was a reason to search her vehicle. I explained that on any traffic stop, an officer may ask for consent to search a vehicle.

Stephanie stuttered, “Okay, I’m, I’m just, I mean, the only thing is I’m trying to hurry to get back”. Based on my training and experience, Stephanie’s change is consistent with someone who is possibly hiding narcotics in a vehicle.

I returned to my cruiser, and I asked dispatch to check Stephanie and Norman through LEADS/NCIC. I returned to Stephanie’s vehicle and ordered both Stephanie and Norman out of the vehicle to allow my K-9 to conduct a free air sniff around the vehicle. Stephanie began fumbling with her purse and other items in her hands. I observed what appeared to be a small wrapper of some sort in Stephanie’s right hand and she dropped in her purse in an attempt to hide it from me. I asked Stephanie what was in her hand because, based on my training and experience, narcotics users will conceal narcotics in wrappers and small bags and it is unusual for someone to hold them in their palm in an attempt to conceal them. I told Stephanie that I saw she had something in her hand and ordered her to exit the vehicle again. I opened Stephanie’s door and as she began to exit her vehicle, she looked inside her purse as if she was making sure the item was concealed. I told Stephanie that I had just seen her drop something in the purse and she stated, “You can look into it” and handed me the purse. Stephanie stood by the front of my cruiser and I searched the purse and did not locate any contraband. Stephanie stated that she dropped a cigarette wrapper in the bag. I placed Stephanie in the backseat of my cruiser.

While I was speaking to Stephanie, P.O. Ward was speaking with Norman. Norman gave P.O. Ward consent to search his person. P.O. Ward located a pill bottle in Norman’s pocket and Norman told P.O. Ward they were his suboxone. P.O. Ward opened the bottle and observed two small bags inside the bottle. One of the bags contained a clear crystal substance and the other contained an orange crushed pill. P.O. Ward left the pill bottle and bags on the hood of Stephanie’s vehicle. P.O. Ward detained Norman and placed him in the backseat of his cruiser.
I retrieved my K-9, Kilo to conduct a check the free air around the exterior of the vehicle. Kilo positively alerted to the odor of narcotics near the front passenger seat of the vehicle. I conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and located nothing.

I went to P.O. Ward’s cruiser and advised Norman of his Miranda warning. I asked Norman what was in the clear bags that were inside the pill bottle. Norman stated the clear crystal substance was methamphetamine. Norman stated he has cancer and uses methamphetamine “Recreationally”. Norman stated the orange crushed pills are suboxone. I asked Norman if he was prescribed Suboxone, and he stated that he is, but he has no proof of the prescription. I advised Norman that I would be sending the contents of the bags to BCI for analysis. I advised Norman that the case would be sent to Grand Jury and would reach out to him.

I looked up the pills that were still in the pill bottle that was labeled with Norman’s name. I learned they are anti-depressants and are not narcotics. The pills were given back to Norman.

Stephanie was issued a warning for the stop sign violation, and they were both released from the scene.
I placed the two bags located inside the pill bottle into an evidence locker at the Greenville Police Department and they will be sent to BCI for analysis.

LOOSE DOGS

May 17, 2026 – At approximately 1159 hours, I spoke to Travis Grooms and Isabell Price in the lobby of the Greenville Police Department.
Travis and Isabell stated they had let the two of their dogs out on a leash in their backyard at 223 Euclid and left their house at approximately 1100 hours on 5/17/2026 and returned no more than 30 minutes later and observed one of their dogs missing.

Travis and Isabell stated the collar was on correct and not broken. They were able to provide me the collar which showed no breakage to show the dog would have broke free. They both stated their dogs name is Bear and has never gotten off the collar/leash before. Travis stated they believed Bear was taken due to the fact they found a pair of shoes near the collar that were not there before. I spoke to Nikkole Denlinger who is Travis’s girlfriend. Nikkole is Isabell’s guardian as well. Nikkole stated she did not give anyone permission to take the dog. All parities involved have no idea who would have taken the dog.

The dog is a Shiih Tzu/poodle mix and is grey and white. I did reach out to the Darke County Animal Shelter to see if anyone turned the described dog in. The animal shelter advised no dog by that description has been turned in. I also patrolled the area and observed no cameras in the alley that would have captured this incident.

SEX OFFENSE

May 28, 2026 – At approximately 0811 hours, I was dispatched to 1324 Sweitzer Street #C16, in reference to a sex offense.
Upon my arrival, I made contact with the victim, Emily Compton, and two witnesses, Chester Brown and Rachelle Ballinger. Emily advised she was speaking to a Rumpke truck driver, later identified as Raymond Perkins, about removing a a scrap refrigerator. Emily stated she allowed Raymond inside her residence to look at the refrigerator.

Emily advised once Raymond was inside, he stated “Where can I bust a line. ” Emily stated that once she told him nowhere, he grabbed her by the throat and asked her for sex and for her to show him her breasts. I did not observe any red marks or injuries on Emily’s neck at this time. While speaking with these subjects, Detective Hawes responded to the scene and began speaking with the above mentioned subjects.

While Det. Hawes was speaking with them, I began canvassing the area for cameras. I located a camera at 1324 Sweitzer Street #C19, which showed a Rumpke truck stopping and Raymond getting out of the truck to gather trash. This video was sent to me and will be attached to this report.

After interviews conducted by Det. Hawes and Lt. Monnin, Raymond was placed under arrest for assault and unlawful restraint. Raymond was placed in handcuffs that were gap checked and double locked. Raymond was searched incident to arrest with no contraband located. I transported Raymond to the Darke County Jail to be incarcerated on these charges. The back of my cruiser, 1946, was checked before and after transport with nothing located.

May 29, 2026 – At approximately 01:38 AM I was dispatched to 1189 Holly Hill Dr, Greenville, OH, in reference to possible stolen keys.
Prior to arrival, dispatch advised that the caller, Leah Ratliff, stated she had just moved in with subjects at the listed address. Leah said she went to bed and when she woke, her car keys were gone. Leah believed that the roommates had stolen the keys. May 25, 2026 – At approximately 12:15 PM I was dispatched to Dollar General, 1361 Sweitzer St. Greenville, OH 45331, in reference to a theft from 5-24-26 at approximately 8:30 PM.

Upon arrival, it was learned that the store manager, Chantel Steele, observed on video a female subject removing items from their packages and concealing them on their person. The female subject then exited the store past all points of sale. The manager of the store identified the subject by first name and where she lives. Chantel stated the female was known to her as “Jesse” and lives near the “Stardust motel”. I was able to make contact with Jesse Rutter at her residence, 5438 ST RT 49, apartment #4, where she admitted to taking items from the store without paying for them. This was recorded on my body camera.

At first, Jesse stated that she was on prescription medication and did not remember taking anything. She then stated that sometimes she puts things under her arm and forgets when she walks out of the store. After further conversation around recovering the items, Jesse comments that she took the items due to not being able to pay her rent. When the male subject observed the officers, he turned around and began running southbound down the alleyway. I located the male subject in the alley way near Hall Street and Plum Street. May 29, 2026 – At approximately 1111 hours, the Greenville Police Department was dispatched to 1370 KitchenAid Way (Snap Fitness). This was in reference to assisting Darke County Adult Probation in arresting Braden Denny. This was in reference to Braden Denny’s car was involved in two different pursuits on May 28th, in Union and Miami County Sheriff’s Office. Braden’s car was a 2014 White Ford Fiesta with heavy front-end damage. At this time, I also contacted Union Police Lieutenant Jacobs, who confirmed his agency and Miami County both pursued the listed vehicle separately on May 29th, and both have felony charges for the vehicle.

Approximately an hour later, it was reported by Braden Denny to Adult probation that Nathan Weidmaire and Charles Bogema were the ones who stole his 2014 Ford Fiesta and they were not authorized to have the vehicle. It was reported that Nathan held a firearm towards Denny, forcing him from the vehicle and then taking off with the car on May 28th, 2026. While Officer Hall was taking a report for the listed theft, the Greenville Police Department received another call from Adult Probation. Adult probation advised they believed the vehicle was southbound near McDonald’s near Russ Road.

I traveled to the area to attempt to locate the vehicle, at which time I observed a 2014 White Ford Fiesta with heavy front-end damage on East Main Street near Smith Street. The vehicle rapidly turned north on Smith Street. By the time I was able to get onto Smith Street and look west down the alley, the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed through the alley, causing the vehicle to bottom out at each intersection.

I activated my emergency lights and sirens and attempted a traffic stop on the listed vehicle. The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated. The vehicle then traveled north on Locust Street before turning left onto East Water Street. The vehicle continued at a high rate of speed through the busy intersection of East Water Street and Broadway Street.

At this time, Sergeant Raffel got behind the vehicle between my cruiser and the suspect cruiser and became the primary officer in the pursuit. The vehicle traveled out State Route 502 at speeds of at least 80 mph. The pursuit continued on State Route 502 for several miles at speeds of 80 and 90 mph. There was moderate traffic on the road at this time. Officers were approaching Springhill Road and was unable to locate the vehicle.

At this time, officers were advised by a citizen that the vehicle traveled North on Springhill Road, where officers continued for several minutes before terminating the pursuit. Shortly after terminating the pursuit, Union City Officer Combs located the vehicle and continued the pursuit. At this time the vehicle traveled back south toward State Route 502. Officers from Darke County Sheriff’s Office, Union City, and the Greenville Police Department started back towards Officer Combs location.

At this time, the vehicle continued back south on State Route 502 towards Greenville at speeds of 100 mph. Officer Combs with the Darke County Sheriff’s Office was following and then the Greenville Police also pursued the vehicle on State Route 502.

At this time, the vehicle started to travel in the opposite lane of travel and DCSO was able to get stop sticks on the vehicle. The vehicle then eventually slowed on State Route 502 and Shade Road.

A felony stop was conducted on the vehicle, and Nathan Weidmaire was confirmed to be the driver of the vehicle. Nathan was arrested and Mirandaized. The passenger in the vehicle was confirmed to be Charles Bogema, who was also detained and Mirandaized. Nathan admitted at this time he had “ice,” aka methamphetamine in his wallet. The wallet was searched and the suspected methamphetamine was located. The substance tested positive for methamphetamine. Nathan was taken to the Darke County Jail in reference to failure to comply with the signal of police and possession of a controlled substance.

On May 30th, 2026, Officer Hall was advised that Charles Bogema was back in the area of the pursuit looking for the firearm we suspected them of having. Officer Hall, Darke County SO, and Randolph County SO went to the area to look for Charles.

At 1315 hours, Officers located a Dark Blue 2021 Chevy Malibu being operated by Christopher Ha and the passenger being Charles Bogema. During the investigation, an open-air sniff was done on the vehicle, and Christopher was arrested for drug possession. Officers continued to speak to Charles Bogema, who admitted to knowing about the gun and that Nathan Weidmair was the one who threw it out the window.

At this time, Charles was released from the scene. Officers continued to search the area and then located the firearm on State Line Road and Pickett Road. The firearm was a black Springfield Hellcat 9MM, Serial #BF147871. It was confirmed through LEADS that the firearm was stolen from Piqua, Ohio. The firearm was also found on the side of the road, which would have made it more likely that the passenger in the pursuit would have been the one who threw the firearm out of the window. We also received text messages from Charles’s Grandma, who confirmed he knew about the gun and told her that officers never found the gun at the time of the pursuit.

At this time, Nathan will have additional charges for tampering with evidence and receiving stolen property. Affiant also requests that an arrest warrant be issued to Charles Bogema for receiving stolen property, tampering with evidence, and weapons under disability. Charles was convicted of Possession of a controlled substance on January 13th, 2026, with reference to the offense date of July 27th, 2024.
