August 24, 1:59 pm. Det. Joseph Wolfe located and apprehended a known wanted subject for an active felony warrant through the Darke County Sheriff’s Office for a Drug Possession Charge, no bond.

August 25, 12:47 pm. P.O. Sam Conley responded to W Main St. on a report of the found property. The property consisted of a yellow and black Dewalt tool bag containing miscellaneous wrenches and drill bits. The bag was found in the parking lot at 740 E Russ Rd. The property was placed in the Greenville Police Department property room for safekeeping.

August 25, 1:21 pm. PO Matthew Ganiron was dispatched to Union St, Dill Oil Company, in reference to an attempted breaking and entering. There are no suspects for the attempted break-in at this time. As of August 28, 9:40 am, the pictures and video footage from the store still have no been sent.

August 26, 1:43 pm. PO Archer was dispatched to West Main St. in reference to a report of a Civil Protection Order Violation. Matthew Riddle was incarcerated at the Darke County Sheriff’s Office with no bond.

August 26, 5:07 pm. P.O. William Daugherty was dispatched to Sweitzer Street, Darke County Fairgrounds, in reference to found property. Two subjects turned in two bank cards, both found in the ATM at Farmers State Bank, one belonging to Brandon Nales and the other belonging to Tracy Bresher. Both bank cards have been placed in GPD Property for safekeeping.

August 26, 7:07 pm. P.O. William Daugherty was dispatched to Sweitzer Street, Darke County Fairgrounds, in reference to found property. The subject turned in a bank card found in the ATM of Farmer State Bank. The card belongs to Cathy Pieper and has been placed in the GPD property for safekeeping.

August 27, 6:20 pm. Known wanted subject Tyrone Randall was located and arrested near the intersection of East Main St. and Memorial Drive.

August 28, 2:39 pm. P.O. Ben Conley responded to West Main St. to serve a misdemeanor warrant for Robyn Newberry for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Failure to Comply with a $1525 bond. Robyn was then transported to the Darke County Jail, where she was released to jail staff.

August 28, 7:58 pm. P.O. William Daugherty was dispatched to Martin St. Family Dollar in reference to a trespassing complaint. Family Dollar employee observed Kaylee Hines in the store, put a can of hair spray in her pocket, and left past the point of sale without paying for the spray. Kaylee was given her copy of the citation and advised of her court date and time.

August 29, 10:58 am. PO Archer was dispatched to West St. Greenville Cemetery in reference to a report of theft. Upon arrival, Archer met with the caretaker of the cemetery, who advised that a total of eight red brass flower urns were taken off the headstones of various grave sites that belonged to the cemetery. The urns were valued at approximately $400 each, for a total loss of approximately $3,200. There are currently no suspects or leads in this case, and Archer has nothing further.

August 29, 5:53 pm. Sgt. Monnin observed a female subject walking westbound in the 1000 block of East Main St. Monnin knew the subject to be Carla Wintrow and to have an active warrant through Darke County Municipal Court for a charge of menacing, must serve 29 days no bond. Wintrow was arrested and transported to the Darke County Jail and released to staff.
