XENIA – The Greenville Lady Wave varsity golf team easily defeated the Xenia Lady Buccaneers 186-268 on Xenia’s home course.
“WGC has fast greens, and some of the greens are severally sloped,” said Greenville coach Tracy Haines. “The girls played well on the course we will play for sectionals.”
Vera Cox paced the Lady Wave with a 42. Callee Moore shot a 46, a personal best for the GHS senior, and Sofia Chrisman and Taylor Trissel both carded 49. Kennedy Schoen and Ava Good also played for Greenville; both had 64 on the day.
Greenville improves to 3-4 overall and 2-2 in conference play.
