GREENVILLE – Greenville FFA is kicking off the school year in the best way possible—with food, fun, and fellowship. The chapter is hosting a Summer Picnic this Saturday, August 9th, at 3:00 PM at Shelter House 5 in the city park, and all FFA students and their families are invited to attend.
The purpose of the picnic goes beyond just a casual get-together. It’s designed to inform students about the exciting opportunities ahead in FFA—from leadership activities and community service projects to competitions, conferences, and more. It’s also a great time for new members to ask questions, meet current students, and see how they can grow within the program.
Parents are encouraged to attend as well. The event will include information on how families can support the chapter and become more involved in their child’s FFA journey.
Guests are kindly asked to bring a covered dish to share. Whether you’re a returning member, new to FFA, or simply curious about what the organization offers, this picnic is a perfect way to start the school year off right.
Greenville FFA can’t wait to welcome everyone this Saturday. Come hungry and ready to connect!
