GREENVILLE – The spirit of giving is alive and well in Greenville, thanks to a generous donation from the Greenville Elks who recently contributed to the annual Community Christmas Dinner held at Radiant Lighthouse Church.
The dinner takes place every year on Christmas Day from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and is open to the entire community. Organizers emphasize that this event is for anyone — families, individuals, seniors, or those who may not have loved ones nearby — especially those who do not want to spend Christmas alone or may be facing financial hardship during the holidays.
In addition to a warm, home-cooked meal, the event will feature Santa Claus, gifts for children, door prizes, and a welcoming atmosphere designed to bring people together in celebration and fellowship.
Pastor Fee of Radiant Lighthouse Church shared how meaningful the event is to him and the congregation.
“This is something I truly look forward to every year,” Pastor Fee said. “We get to see so many wonderful people from our community, visit with them, talk, laugh, and connect over and over again. It’s a reminder of how powerful kindness and togetherness can be, especially on Christmas Day.”
Church leaders expressed deep gratitude to the Greenville Elks for their continued support, noting that donations like this make it possible to provide not only a meal, but also joy, dignity, and lasting memories for local families.
