GREENVILLE – The Greenville Business & Professional Women’s Club (BPW) Scholarship Committee will host their monthly dinner meeting on Thursday, March 13th.. The committee consists of Co-Chairs Gina Wolfe and Sue Huston and members Tonya Keller, Terra Denniston, Kim Davis and Alexia Sykes. The meeting will be held at Chestnut Village, 750 Chestnut in Greenville at 6:30 PM.
Committee chair Sue Huston will introduce Darke County high school students vying for the scholarships that are available this year. The students have met certain criteria to qualify for the scholarships and will give a short presentation on their accomplishments and goals. The Club will be awarding eight (8) $1500 scholarships this year and one $500 Anna Britton scholarship. Several fundraisers are held throughout the year to obtain money to grant the scholarships.
The Club meets on the second Thursday of every month for a dinner meeting. The Greenville BPW Club invites women interested in learning more about the club to the March 13th meeting. The Greenville BPW Club’s mission is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education, and information. The cost of dinner is $15.00.
