GREENVILLE – The Green Wave varsity boys golf team earned their first MVL win of the 2024 season, downing the visiting Xenia Buccaneers 185-218 at Turtle Creek Golf Course.
“Drew had another nice round tonight,” said Greenville coach Brian Stickel. “Sophomore Brody Weaver had a good round tonight.”
Drew Beisner paced the Wave with a 42, Brody Weaver finished with a 44, Cole Oswalt shot a 48, Carson Good and Chilly Jasenski each carded a 51, and Brody Weaver for Greenville.
“Great to get the first win and an MVL win,” Stickel stated. “Go at it tomorrow and see if we can get another win as we play Stebbins at Locust Hills.”
