SPRINGFIELD – The Greenville varsity boys’ golf team traveled to Locust Hills Golf Course and brought home a 175-180 MVL win over the Stebbins Indians.

“We had four consistent scorers tonight,” said Greenville coach Brian Stickel. “I knew going in it was going to be a close match. My younger kids stepped up and helped us get the win.”

Carson Good and Brody Weaver paced the Green Wave each carding a 43, Drew Beisner shot a 44, Hayden Null had a 45, Chlly Jasenski shot a 49 and Cole Oswalt finished with a 56.

“Once again, a very good round from Brody on a course he’s never seen,” said Greenville coach Brian Stickel. “Carson had a great round after last night’s score.”

The Indians’ Braden Powers was medalist on the day with a 38 for Stebbins.
