GREENVILLE – The Jr. High LWSB team won the MVL Tournament Semi-final round at home Friday evening with a shutout game against West Carrollton.
The 8th grade team took the win in five innings against the visiting Lady Pirates, with a final score of 14 – 0.
Lady Wave pitcher, Elle Kayler No. 2, pitched a ‘no-hitter’ in the Friday night match-up.
This young team, led by Coach Jeff Shilt, had some strong at-bats, and their defensive players exercised some outstanding fielding in the tournament game.
The 8th grade Lady Wave, who are 14 – 1 in MVL conference play, will be on the road Saturday, May 10th, for the Tournament Championship game. They will face off against the Fairborn Lady Skyhawks at the new Fairborn High School complex. First pitch will be at 2:00 p.m.
