Gloria Ann Hathaway, 74, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 12:20 AM at the Brethren Retirement Community. Gloria was born November 21, 1949, in Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of Phyllis (Beisner) Hathaway of Greenville and the late Charles Robert Hathaway.
Gloria worked as a Pharmacist in Columbus until retiring and moving back to Greenville, where she worked at Kroger Pharmacy for three years. She was a 1968 graduate of Greenville High School and a graduate of The Ohio State University School of Pharmacy.
Gloria is survived by her mother, Phyllis; her brother, Rod Hathaway of Columbus; her niece, Lindsey & Matt Petr of Findlay; her nephew, Chris and Colleen Hathaway of Dearborn, Michigan; her good friend, Linda Leis; her close friend of 65 years, Nancy McClurg; and numerous cousins.
Private graveside services will be conducted at the convenience of the family at St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery, with Chaplain Susie Fisher officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brethren Retirement Community or the American Cancer Society.
