GREENVILLE—Greenville Senior High School Student Council collected over 2,600 cans and nonperishable foods from students at the high school, grades freshman through senior.

“We were very fortunate to have a lot of people participate this year,” Ella Strawn, Vice President of Student Council said.

The club gathered 822 items last year, more than tripling their collections.

The goods were delivered to the Darke County Homeless Shelter through Community Action Partnership on Friday.
