Genevieve “Jenny” Voisard, 95 of Russia, Ohio, passed away on Friday January 13, 2023 at 11:20 PM at Versailles Rehab and Healthcare, Versailles, Ohio.

She was born October 12, 1927 in Shelby County, Ohio to the late Clarence and Genevieve (Paulus) Hole. On November 20, 1948, she married Carl W. Voisard who preceded her in death on September 6, 2011.

She is survived by her children and spouses, Larry and Carol Voisard of Fort Loramie, Nancy and Douglas Greve of Botkins, Joyce and Carl Morris of Troy, and Mike and Donna Voisard of Mesquite, Texas; her grandchildren, Lori & Glen Tebbe, Stacy & Brian Knasel, Nicholas Voisard, Lucas & Carly Greve, Michelle & Will Owens, Jodi Eilerman, Amanda & Ronald Gallant Jr., and Aaron Voisard; 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; her step sister, Edna Wise; sister in laws, Eileen Poeppelman of Minster, and Rose Henry of Versailles; her brother in law, Royce Smith of Versailles.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, Dorothy & Urban Gaier, Margaret & Aloys Hoelscher, Hilda & Clarence Siegel; her step siblings, Bernadine & Tom Froning, Ruth & Albert Hoelscher, Conrad & Esther Hoelscher, Alvin & Martha Poeppelman, Clifford Wise, and Lester Poeppelman; and her in laws, Jim and Agnes Voisard, Robert and Ruth Voisard, Florence Smith, Cyril and Frankie Voisard, Helen and Francis McEldowney, John and Judy Voisard, and Roy Henry. She was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church; The Gathering Place; and she enjoyed crocheting and playing cards. She retired from Clopay.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday January 20, 2023 at St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia, Ohio with Rev. Fr. Matt Feist Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday January 19, 2023 and from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Friday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio.
