GREENVILLE – Jordan L. Gary (32) of Greenville was booked into the Darke County Jail on Saturday after being charged with Rape, a felony of the first degree.

He allegedly forced a confidential female victim to engage in sexual conduct by force or threat of force on Aug. 3.

Gary has prior felony convictions, but has yet to serve prison time. He now faces up to 11 years behind bars if convicted as charged.

On Tuesday, Gary was ordered to remain jailed on a $150,000 bond by Darke County Common Pleas Court Judge Travis L. Fliehman. If Gary is able to post a bond, Judge Fliehman ordered several conditions, including no contact with minors or children, no alcohol or illegal drug use and comply with mental health and substance abuse recommendations.

He will be back in court on Aug. 12 for a Preliminary Hearing.
