DARKE COUNTY – On August 3, Western Ohio Motor Sports, LLC will present the Gary Davis Art Frazier Memorial Short Track race at the Treaty City Motorcycle Club.
Several years ago, Treaty City MC built a TT track at their club, which was included in the Best Ohio Summer Series (BOSS) and went well for the most part, but with low interest, the club abandoned the idea. Seven years later, new interest in the club has risen with the idea to build a short track.
In 2024, TCMC had a practice session to introduce a short track to the public and the interest rose enough to go forward with the building of the track. With the leadership of Eugene Frazier, the track has taken on several changes such as the length, the width of nearly 40ft and banking in the turns.
As everyone knows, this year has not been easy because of all the moisture, but the work has continued and has come around nicely. We have had a dozer and operator for the past 5 weeks, along with other equipment, to bring you a real nice short track on Sunday, August 3rd, practice at 10 am. Primitive camping at our beautiful club grounds.
